Have you ever come across those blogs with an awesome signature at the bottom of every post they write and thought “wow, I wish I could do that”? The good thing is, you can and it’s so simple.
Adding a signature to your posts makes it look more personal. You can add your name or whatever you want. I currently have my signature along with a TopMommyBlogs banner to encourage people to vote for me. You can add whatever you want to your signature and it’s so simple.
All you have to do is download the plugin bottom of every post. Go to your plugins and find bottom of every post, and click edit. Choose the file that says “bottom-of-every-post/bottom_of_every_post.txt” and edit the code. There shouldn’t be anything there, if there is you can remove it. Now all you have to do is copy and paste your HTML text into the space and save. Now you have a signature.
The good thing about this is you don’t have to manually add the signature, even to posts you have already posted, like other methods. There are several methods out there that have you copy and paste the HTML text into the code, but you risk messing up your code if you don’t know what you are doing. Also, some of these methods only work on the new posts, not the old posts. With bottom of every post, it adds whatever you want to the bottom of every post. If you want to change your signature, all you have to do is change the code and all of your signatures are changed. It really is fool proof.
Do you add a signature to the bottom of all of your posts? If not, will you be adding a signature to your posts now?
