Hello there, My name is Cassie. I started a blog awhile back and got discouraged when I was not seeing the traffic I would have liked to see. I am sure you all know the feeling, you are blogging away for months and you are seeing the same people commenting. That is when I decided to give up on that blog.

The issue was I focused entirely on the parenting niche. Now, there are many people out there who can focus on parenting and have a successful blog, but as a first time mother with a baby under a year, there just wasn’t much to write about. I have decided to use Mommy, RN to help others learn from my mistakes and share my knowledge.

As a work at home mom and a nurse I feel that I have a lot to offer. This is the reason I created Mommy, RN.

I want to help other blogger by offering advice on how to start and run a blog. By using my experiences from a failed blog and learning so much more from this blog, I have already been able to help many other bloggers.

I am also using my nursing knowledge to help parents. I am a pediatric, labor and delivery, postpartum and women’s health nurse. I am using this knowledge to help other parents with many issues including sick babiespostpartum depression, health and fitness, and many more. I even include personal stories at times that I feel will help parents feel like they are not alone.

As a work at home mom I have decided to share my experiences working at home with a toddler and finding a work at home job, among other things.

I am always open to hearing what you have to say. I love hearing from my readers. If you have a question related to your health or your child’s health, feel free to email me and I will try to get you an answer. If you have questions about blogging or anything else relating to this blog, again, email me and I will do my best to answer your questions. If you want to write a guest post for me, I am always open to posts that are related to the site, just make sure you check out the guidelines before contacting me, or your email might be ignored.
