A New Year’s Resolution for Mothers

It’s the new year and so it is time for all those resolutions you didn’t follow through on last year to make their rounds again. So what is your resolution this year? Do you want to lose weight, workout more, eat healthier, quit smoking, or anything else?

A New Year's Resolution for Mothers

I have a better resolution for you. One that you can keep and it will make you a better mother and make you happier. Do you want to know what it is?

Stop judging other mothers.

It seems simple but at the same time it is hard. I am just tired of seeing all the mommy wars so this year let’s make it our New Year’s Resolution as mothers to stop judging each other and let everyone be.

As moms we all make decisions based on what is right for our families. That is all that is important, that we make the right decisions for our family and not for anyone else’s family.

Who cares if you breastfeed or bottle feed, use cloth diapers or disposables. As long as you are doing what is best for your baby and your family that is all that matters.

If we stop the mom wars this will not only help us lead happier lives we will be better parents and our kids will learn from us that it is not right to judge others.

Join me this year in pledging that you will stop judging other moms.

What is your parenting related New Year’s Resolution this year?

Thanks for reading, Cassie
